College is over... done... dealt with... finito... the end... aaahhhhhalelujah
And Uni begins after august...
August... I go to Africa for 2 weeks on August 20th...
August 20th... the date Tia goes home... because she'll be here from August 3rd

I'm so happy about it! The patience is driving me nuts
but at the same time, I'm satisfied with where I am...

What would make a good/awesome INCEPTION game?
A lot of people say, 'INCEPTION would make a terrible game!'
I agree.
If you make a follow on plot or even repeat the plot of the film, it'd kinda suck...
BUT FEAR NOT, FRIENDS!
I am RIGHT NOW going to INVENT an INCEPTION GAME that'd be BOSS!
so... here we go...
INCEPTION: THE VIDEO GAME
Two words people...
NAZI ZOMBIES
Oh yes.
There is only one way I can see a game like this playing out, and that's through a whole
game following the style of the infamous title NAZI ZOMBIES.
Although this game primarily focuses on the endless slaughter of wave after wave of
zombies, seeing how long you can last, it is one of the most popular video game 'mini-
games' ever made. period.
We know that projections will attack like mad dogs.
SO a game where wave after wave of projections, getting stronger and stronger as they
progress, would make (in theory) an awesome game!
Now let's make it a little more interesting! cue map building!
In INCEPTION, the architect BUILDS the dream... so how awesome could it be that you
build the dream (design the map using a group of props and open land... a little bit like
THE SIMS or HALO: REACH)
You design and build your own map... like a maze... and then play it with your friends.
You can control the weather, the time of day, the envionment, the props, the buildings,
the lack of buildings... EVRYTHING!
Anything you could possibly dream up (see what I did there?)
Alright! Game's looking good... so let's add a few other interesting things.
In INCEPTION, you are in a dream, and in a dream, you make the rules...
So let's add this... a LIMBO MENU!
When you shoot/kill a projection, you get points. In the limbo menu, you can SPEND
these points and dream up new, better weapons!
BUT there is a CATCH!
If YOU spend points and dream up a new weapon, then in the next round, there will spawn
a VERY strong projection. For every item bought, a new, strong projection is brought up.
Make sure you don't create too many, as they can be a challenge to defeat.
YOU: so what happens when/if you die!?
Ahaa!
If you die, you drop into LIMBO!
(limbo is a blank area where you can build and create anything you want)
YOU: What? But how do you get out and back into the game?
WELL
Someone still in the game must stand over your body and give you a kick (holding a
certain button).
When the person is in position and holding the button, you (in limbo) will hear the song
'non, je ne regrette rien'
During the playing of this music, you (in limbo) must kill yourself.
If the person still alive, for any reason, ceases to hold the button, then you will miss the
kick and must wait for the next attempt at kicking you back.

So yesh... it has been a while...
My bad.
But think about it this way.
The reason I post here, is because I generally have stuff I need to get off my chest.
So, by not posting here, I had squat to get off my chest! :D
But yeah... :P
LIFE UPDATE:
Education: College rocks... ish. Yeah, it's fun n' all, but I wish we could do more practical stuff. We don't do that anymore. I wanna freakin' play piano in my music lessons! And I wanna make movies n' stuff.
Career: Illustrating rocks... ish. Yeah, it's fun n' all, but I thought I was illustrating one book with no deadline, not the freakin' one book a week for 8 weeks! And I wanna make movies n' stuff.
PERSONAL: Piano rocks... ish. Yeah, it's fun n' all, but I'd much rather be sat behind a camera making a feature length movie that I have all planned in my head that sittin' behind a keyboard and waiting for my producers to gimme a freakin' green light! And I WANNA MAKE MOVIES N' STUFF!
Will be hanging out with a babe soon, me thinks. xD

Composing
I don't really wanna be a composer...
And yet, it's the most fun I've ever had.
Still...
When I write music, I want it to be from within me...
And so I wrote a piece... 'Wren's Song'
That came from inside me.
And then a girl asked me to write her a song.
She wanted it done for February...
...
I've just completed it xD
Don't get me wrong... it isn't rushed.
But the melody perfectly suits her character.
I'm not 100% happy with it, so I'll re-do it...
But the melody is staying the same... EXCLAMATION MARK
Yeh
And now, another friend wants me to compose one for her. xD
The thing is (and I love describing it this way) she has more sides than a POLYGON!
xD
So... what to do... what to do...
1. What are her sides?
2. What style of music suits each side?
3. How do I blend them together... (via a story)
So basically, I'll look up her character in my story (which she isn't a main attraction in tbh... just a voice on a screen)
I'll see how it works out anywho...

Lost...
Ok... am really lost now... xD
In college today, we did some 3D modeling... ALL DAY!
Now I don't like it... sure, it's a fun past time, but I rarely do it. 3D modeling just isn't my forte and I don't want it to be...
... anyway...
So I overheard a conversation (can it even be called that?)
...
So I over heard a retaliation from our tutor to a student that kinda went somwething like this...
TUTOR: Now get to work!
STUDENT: What if we can't do 3D modeling?
TUTOR: Then you're on the wrong course!
...
It's not that I can't do it... I know if I put my mind to it(and if I actually listen to the tutor), I can do it... in fact, I was helping out TWO people today!
The thing is... I don't want to be a 3D artist on a game.
I want to design the plots and story lines. I want to design the ideas... Sort of like a concept design guy.
So... is it the right course?
I mean... during the one unit we did were I GOT to design a story(the only games unit I got a distinction in), the 3D modelers got a separate unit to do.
So why can't I get a separate unit here!? >:(
...
Maybe I should have taken a writing course... or a film course, since I want to be a director...
now that I've started 2nd year, I can't just quit...
I don't want to either... I love my class! They (mostly) rock!

I don't know why I'm so fired up, but I'm REALLY hoping it gets put through.
The idea of it is so brilliant... the plot and everything...
So yes... I can't wait until this movie is taken by the horns and built into an incredible production for God to use.
SO! Here's what I've done recently.
1. I've learnt to change the screen ratio from 16:9 (widescreen) to that SUPER widescreen (can't remember the figures)
2. I've learnt how to make digital footage look cinematic.
3. I've finally discovered the style of music I want to use!
This is EXACTLY the style I want!
Strong drum beat. Electric guitar. Rock!
And then in intervals, maybe a few classic instruments, like strings!
(Strings can easily be simulated by a keyboard. YES!)
OMYGOSH this is BEYYOOTEFUL!

I was selfish...
There's a problem with the world.
There's a problem with everyone in it.
There's a problem with everything.
And you know what? Instead of going out there and helping fix the problem, I look at myself and make myself feel bad.
How more selfish could I be?
I have the one true God on my side... so how can I look at my problems!?
If I busy myself with other people's problems and help fix THEM, it takes my mind off MY problems.
I will let God deal with my problems and my fights instead of fighting them alone or running away.
And while He's doing that, I'll help everyone else who needs Him, and yet don't have Him.
I know many people who are Godless, and I know many who have God, but they just don't know when to let Him take control.
Therefor, I will help them get right with God, and in doing so, maybe I can get right with God too... yeah... I want to get right with God too...
